Sire: Patagonia's Neruda
Dam: Patagonia's Valentia
This is Neruda's King Solomon, son of the famed Patagonia's Neruda. In 2007 Neruda sold for 205,000 at the futurity. Neruda was the highest selling grey alpaca of all time. Why? Because he is amazing and what he has produced has been amazing.
We are thrilled with Solomon.
Solomon's first baby is A TRUE BLACK baby GIRL!!! (I knew that ultrasound looked like a girl!) !#2 cria a TRUE BLACK male! So we Know he throws black. Also if presence is important to you take a look at his daughter. All his cria have great presence, bright fleece, and gorgeous heads.
Solomon combines some of the finest West coast genes available, including Alpaca's de la Patagonia's Neruda, Shakelton, Danko, AND El Padre! He is an impressive and beautiful animal with solid bone, a gorgeous head, and tons of beautiful fiber. He also carries the impeccable conformation that Patagonia alpacas are famous for. His fiber is extremely fine and he has great coverage and long staple length from head to toe. We expect that Solomon will maintain his fineness as he ages, as have both Shakelton and Neruda.
Solomon has been a consistent show winner, proving himself in the ring in both Halter and in Fleece, including a first place ribbon at the huge North American 2006. Judges Julio Sumar, Mike Safley, and Amanda Vandenbosch have all commented on Solomon's wonderful conformation and beautiful head and bite.
In addition to his physical attributes, Solomon is an easy-going, gentle, intelligent, and laid-back soul. All the looks and the sweetness too - sounds like a winner to me! We know that Neruda's King Solomon has a bright future ahead of him and we are honored to have him take his place in our herd sire row. So keep him in mind for your special girl. Solomon will take your breath away,as well as your girls! He is a sweet and gentle lover!:)
